Claire Hill

I have volunteered with the Support Through Court Charity in The Central London Family Court for several years, helping clients navigate their way through the Court process. This work highlighted to me the need for people who are separating to be able to communicate with each other in the best possible way to focus on their own futures, and in particular those of their children. I enjoy helping people resolve their difficulties and believe mediation provides an excellent opportunity for people to make their own decisions with long lasting results.

I have also had practical volunteering roles with Crisis at Christmas, the Citizens Advice Bureau, the Pelican Cancer Foundation, The Lullaby Trust, Clonter Opera, and Afghan Action. I set up and was The Founding Chairman of The Art Society, Hungerford.  I am also responsible for allocating awards on behalf of a charitable trust.

Whilst working as a volunteer I brought up my family and have been exposed to a wide range of life's experiences which have required a practical, pragmatic, patient and empathetic approach.

I qualified as a Family Mediator with NFM in 2019. I am a member of the College of Mediators and am fully accreditated with the Family Mediation Council. Earlier in my career I was an insurance broker in Lloyds of London and subsequently worked in Executive Search. I have a BSc in Zoology.
